I hopefully fixed the problems with the sample code that was included with the original torrent. If you find any problems with the code or book information, please let me know. This is a final draft of a programming book that I just completed. I'm releasing it as a GNU FDL-licensed book, hence this torrent. Once I have it edited, I will be posting the complete version to a web site.

Regarding page 17: functions are mentioned later in the book, especially the Python 3 print() function. This was simply an example to show how the Python prompt looks. I will clarify the example.
I realize the errors you are getting is because I forgot to change the print statements to work with Python 3. I had started on this book before Python 3 came out and figured the samples should match what I was writing about.
I will revise the code to make it work with Python 3 and repost.
